The growth of wearable technologies are now offering opportunities to engage with many areas of society and industry. This vast range includes work with physiotherapists for rehabilitation, workplace monitoring (such as safe lifting), sports, physical literacy in regional and remote schools, and recently looking into livestock monitoring during transport. It is an exciting area to work and develop relationships to assist in overcoming problems that people or organisations may encounter.
Swimming has long been an area where our work has been. This environment that is somewhat hostile to electronic devices has enabled the ongoing development of the technology which has allowed us to “iron out the bugs” that makes dry-land applications considerably easier.
